Texas Marijuana Policy Conference

Texans for Responsible Marijuana Policy is proud to be hosting the first statewide Texas Marijuana Policy Conference. We’ll kick it off with a Friday night reception featuring a special musical performance. On Saturday and Sunday, you’ll hear from legislators, political operatives, attorneys, health-care professionals, celebrities, veterans, patients, and other advocates. Attendees will also have the option of dining with our special guests for lunch on Saturday and Sunday, as well as a banquet on Saturday night.

agenda here. Register now to secure your seat!

Texans for Responsible Marijuana Policy is a broad coalition with over 20 participating organizations. All of our collaborators believe in promoting an honest, fact-based dialogue regarding marijuana use and the negative consequences of its criminalization. We focus on removing penalties for adult possession of marijuana for personal use; allowing seriously ill patients to safely obtain and use medical marijuana if their doctors recommend it; and opening a safe, legal market where Texans who choose to consume marijuana can obtain it from regulated businesses.

With medical cannabis available to only a select few — and a patchwork of policies being implemented at the local level — it’s important to understand Texas’s current policies and how we can improve them.

We hope you’ll join us for the first annual Texas Marijuana Policy Conference!
